About Becky
Rebecca Fjelland Davis is a novelist and YA and children's book author who lives in Minnesota. She is currently an instructor at South Central College in Mankato, where she teaches Composition studies, Literature and Film, and Humanities.
She grew up on a farm outside of Huxley, Iowa. She graduated with honors from Waldorf College, from St. Cloud State University (earning her Bachelor of Arts in English) and from Mankato State University (earning her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing).
Becky currently lives in farmhouse near Good Thunder, Minnesota, where she writes, rides her bike, has bonfires with her friends, plows snow in the winter with her garden tractor, feeds the birds, and walks her Newfoundland Freya in the woods.
Becky is a serious cyclist and loves to write about her passions: bicycling, dogs, farms, and friendship. She hasn't raced her bike for a few years, but she follows racing avidly and writes about it.
