February 10 – BOOK ENDS: Connecting Writers with Readers–a monthly Literary Event on Second Saturdays, 11 AM at The Uptown, 224 Jefferson St. S, Wadena, MN (I’m really excited to get to be the featured author for this program!)

March 15 –Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, Iowa – reading and lecture, 7 p.m. with classroom visits on Friday, March 16

March 22 or 23 TBA – Visiting District 77 Dakota Meadows Middle School (Very excited for this hometown event, if we can make it happen)

April 16-The Happy Bookers Book Club, Mankato

May 12- Midwest Book Awards Gala, Luther Northwestern Seminary, St. Paul

June 21-22-23 – Pekin Days, Pekin North Dakota, origination point of the Slider’s Son story. Details TBD.

Oct. 12, 13 – Deep Valley Book Festival, Mankato Event Center

Oct. 22 – North Mankato Taylor Library, Author event and discussion with author Kirstin Cronn-Mills, 6 p.m. at the Police Annex Building right next to the library.

Becky and her writing group presented a panel about making writing groups work, and writing for publication. (“Siblings in Ink” have been working together 13 years!)

Oct. 26, 27, 28—Citizen Jane Film Festival, Stephens College, Columbia, MO

Chasing AllieCat the film was submitted and was ACCEPTED to this film festival. The premier of this film (shorts program) was well attended and well received! (And made Becky cry) 

Nov. 9 –Van Meter,Iowa!

All day, Becky will be at the Van Meter Middle School, talking about writing, about this novel and Bob Feller ties, and signing books as requested.

Nov. 9, 6:30 p.m.–Van Meter Public Library, Van Meter, IA.  VAN METER IS the home of Bob Feller! Bob Feller is Grant O’Grady’s (Slider’s Son) idol! This is an exciting event!
