Today, I got the usual birthday pop-ups on Facebook.
It’s George Nicholson’s birthday. George died in February, and I didn’t realize how much I missed him until I saw that it’s his birthday. He was my agent from 2001 until this past winter
. He sold my novels Jake Riley: Irreparably Damaged to HarperCollins and Chasing AllieCat to FLUX. My life changed because of George. I don’t have anything profound and new to say that I didn’t say in this post, but I couldn’t let the day pass without recognizing his generosity to me, and to the world.
